While we wait for the teaser trailer for Brave to come online a new still from the film featuring the lead character Princess Merida (voiced by Kelly MacDonald) has arrived courtesy of Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich and his Twitter account.
This is the best shot of Merida we’ve seen yet and you can get a larger look in our gallery right here or an even larger look if you click that Twitter link above.
The teaser is playing in front of Cars 2 this weekend and I suspect will be online no later than this coming Monday.
Brave is set to hit theaters just under a year from now on June 22, 2012 and is set in the Highlands of Scotland and centers on Merida, a skilled archer who confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts to discover the true meaning of courage. Joing MacDonald as the voice of Merida are Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.
