Dark Souls II Headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in April 2015

Japanese video game development studio FromSoftware has announced today that their hit title Dark Souls II is headed to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next April under the title Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. Included in the release of the game will be all three DLC chapters; “Crown of the Sunken King,” “Crown of the Old Iron King,” and “Crown of the Ivory King,” in addition to even more all-new content. Dark Souls II is the sequel to the punishing 2011 breakout hit Dark Souls. The unique old school action RPG experience captivated imaginations of gamers worldwide with incredible challenge and intense emotional reward. Dark Souls II brings the franchise’s renowned difficulty and gripping gameplay innovations to both single and multiplayer experiences. 

In addition to the current-gen releases, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will also be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 7, 2015.
