Recent reports suggest that Angelina Jolie is seeking a fresh start outside of Los Angeles. This decision comes as her twins, Vivienne and Knox, are about to turn 18. Jolie believes it is the right time for the family to explore the world together. Previously, she mentioned a particular country that she considers home, leading to speculation that she might relocate there after leaving LA.
Angelina Jolie reportedly eyes a new life beyond LA as her twins turn 18
A source told PEOPLE now that Jolie’s kids have turned adults, she’s “ready” to “experience” the life beyond Los Angeles and start a new chapter. They said, “She’s been talking about leaving Los Angeles for years. She’s happy to have more freedom and flexibility in her life.” They added that the kids have always been top of her priority list.
The source claims that she intends to experience the world together with the kids and is “excited” that they could now do more of that together. They mentioned that she is all set for her next chapter.
Earlier, the Daily Mail reported the troubles Jolie had been facing to start off fresh elsewhere. It mentioned that she has a hard time selling the Los Feliz estate, which she listed for nearly $30 million. The property continues to be on the market due to a delay in the sale.
The insider puts it as “Angelina is smart, she knew it would take a while to sell the property even though it is gorgeous and legendary, because the housing market has slowed in Los Angeles, but it still is annoying.”
During a conversation at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Mr. & Mrs. Smith actress was asked what place she considers home. “In my heart, Cambodia. My first trip was Tomb Raider, where you saw me hanging upside down [in the clip],” she answered (via PEOPLE). It remains to be seen where Jolie could potentially relocate to, whether it would be Cambodia or elsewhere.
