Ray Liotta Passes Away, Goodfellas & GTA: Vice City Star Was 67

Acclaimed actor Ray Liotta has passed away at the age of 67.

Deadline notes that the Goodfellas actor passed away in his sleep while in the Dominican Republic. Liotta was working on the upcoming film Dangerous Waters and recently finished filing on Elizabeth Banks’ Cocain Bear. His recent work includes roles in The Many Saints of Newark, the Apple TV+ series Black Bird, and Marriage Story.

Prior to his breakout role as Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas, Liotta earned a Golden Globe nomination for his role as Ray Sinclair in 1986’s Something Wild and played Shoeless Joe Jackson in 1989’s Field of Dreams. Liotta also famously voiced the main character of the hit video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Tommy Vercetti.
