Netflix has released The Gentlemen Season 2 trailer with Theo James returning as The Duke to face the Italian mafia.
The new season is set one year after the original, with James’ Eddie Horniman wanting to grow his empire across the border. To do so, Eddie, Susie, and Bobby will have to stay under the radar while drawing minimal attention from Marco Moretti, an Italian crime boss.

When is the release date for The Gentlemen Season 2?
The Gentlemen Season 2 premieres on September 3, 2026, on Netflix. The trailer starts with Eddie explaining how his empire is “living in a jungle and expanding.” Sweeping vistas of Italian villas take the spotlight as Eddie decides to wage war against the mafia. This leads to an all-out war, with the footage suggesting it goes back to Halstead.
The series started life as a spin-off of Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film sharing the same name. The film grossed over $100 million worldwide. While the film centered around Matthew McConaughey’s as the American head of London’s illicit cannabis trade, the series follows Eddie Horniman, a British aristocrat. The second season has been teased as being “bigger and darker” than the original, without stripping apart the whimsy, high-energy style that Guy Ritchie brings to the project.
Besides James, The Gentleman Season 2 brings back Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley, and Giancarlo Esposito. The second season is also adding new cast members, including Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr, and broadcaster Maya Jama.
