Tom Hardy returns as the mob fixer Harry De Souza in the MobLand Season 2 teaser trailer. It also confirms the official release date for the next chapter on Paramount+.
“The ten-episode second season will see the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy,” says the official synopsis.

What happens in the MobLand Season 2 teaser trailer?
MobLand Season 2 teaser trailer opens with Pierce Brosnan‘s Conrad Harrigan and Helen Mirren‘s Maeve Harrigan at the forefront of a war on the streets, reports Deadline. “We are the Harrigans!”, shouts Conrad while shooting mercilessly. “Don’t know the name? Then Google us,” he jokes.
MobLand Season 2 will basically show a civil war erupting within the Harrigan family. It’s happening amid a potential threat to their empire from rival gangs.
Besides Hardy, Brosnan, and Mirren, MobLand Season 2 also features Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, and Jasmine Jobson. Other key cast members include Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones.
MobLand has Ronan Bennett as the creator, writer, and executive producer alongside Jez Butterworth as writer and executive producer. Guy Ritchie, David C. Glasser, Tom Hardy, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Keith Cox are also executive producers.
With Season 2 fast approaching, the show’s future once appeared uncertain, especially after several reports suggested Hardy’s exit from the series. Many expected that he would not return for Season 3. However, a close source revealed last month that it wasn’t the case. “The door is not closed for Season 3, and things are being worked through creatively,” said the undisclosed person.
It was also mentioned that executive producer Ritchie “likes working with Tom.” While some reports suggested co-stars were annoyed with Hardy, the situation appeared to be under control and not overly serious.
MobLand Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on September 18, 2026.
