1 of Apple TV’s Best Sci-Fi Shows Is Finally Returning Very Soon

Apple TV is preparing to bring back one of its biggest sci-fi hits, with the third installment on the horizon. More than a year after the second season concluded, the show is set to return with a new batch of episodes that will continue the story of Juliette Nichols. The streamer has now confirmed when viewers can expect the acclaimed dystopian drama to make its long-awaited comeback.

Silo Season 3 to release soon on Apple TV

Apple TV has announced that Silo Season 3 will premiere on July 3, 2026. The new season will consist of 10 episodes, beginning with a single-episode launch before shifting to a weekly release schedule. New episodes will debut every Friday through September 4.

Earlier this week, Apple TV also released the first full trailer for the upcoming season. The video confirms that Juliette Nichols, played by Rebecca Ferguson, survived the incinerator fire that appeared to kill her in the Season 2 finale. However, the trailer suggests that she returns with memory loss. Meanwhile, Camille, portrayed by Alexandria Riley, presents her with a different account of events. Additionally, the clip suggests that Season 3 will unfold across two timelines.

According to the official synopsis, Season 3 will continue the story of the silo’s underground society as it faces the aftermath of the rebellion. In the present-day storyline, Juliette returns after surviving her forced cleaning while the community struggles to recover from recent events. The season will also introduce a second narrative set centuries earlier. It will follow journalist Helen Drew and Congressman Daniel Keene as they uncover a conspiracy with lasting consequences.

Alongside Ferguson, the returning ensemble includes Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, and Clare Perkins. Following the show’s strong performance for Apple TV, Silo was renewed for both a third and fourth season in December 2024.

The fourth season is expected to bring Hugh Howey’s bestselling saga to a close.
