Daredevil: Born Again showrunner reveals when Season 2 takes place
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will begin with a six-month time jump following Wilson Fisk’s declaration of martial law in Season 1.
In an interview with SFX Magazine, showrunner Dario Scardapane said, “Fisk has won, the city is gradually being put under his boot and we pick up all of our major players around six months later. The Fisk administration at this point has really taken hold. At the same time, there’s a bubbling up of an underground.”
He added, “New York is being transformed. Some people might call that a rebirth, some might call it decay. And the characters are being transformed by dint of huge political machinations.” Season 1 ended with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk consolidating power as mayor, imposing martial law, and launching a crackdown on vigilantes.
SFX originally published the interview on February 25, 2026. Disney+ will premiere Season 2 on March 24, 2026.
