The first clear photos from the New York set show Matt Murdock in a Daredevil suit that balances comic book heritage with a modern tactical edge. While the base of it is predominantly black, bright red panels cut across the torso and shoulders. The helmet follows the same logic – black cowl, red lenses – allowing the scarlet “DD” logo to stand out on his chest. It feels less like a complete reinvention and more like a natural evolution of the armored outfits from the first two seasons.
Social media lit up within hours. The design draws on Matt Murdock’s 1990s armored costume, yet Marvel Studios has clearly pushed it into original territory. The red segments pulse against the shadowy base, a visual choice that should read exceptionally well during nighttime fight sequences. Another set photograph featured both Daredevil and Elektra, prompting a fan to observe, “Both of these scenes were filmed at the same location. Love how their suit colors are reversed.
