That ’90s Show: Mila Kunis Reveals if She and Ashton Kutcher Are Returning for Season 2

Mila Kunis says that she and Ashton Kutcher won’t be appearing in the second season of That ‘90s Show.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, via Entertainment Weekly, Kunis was asked if fans can expect her and Kutcher to reprise their respective roles as Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso in That ‘90s Show Season 2.

“No,” Kunis answered. “I mean, we did our thing and they introduced our son in the show.”

Seth Green, however, said that fans can expect to see the return of Mitch Miller in the forthcoming season. “I’ve already done an episode of it, and I’m going back to do another one,” he said.

Kunis and Kutcher both starred in all eight seasons of That ‘70s Show, which aired on Fox from 1998 to 2006. The series’ main cast also included Topher Grace as Eric Forman, Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti, Wilmer Valderrama as Fez, Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman, Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman, Don Stark as Bob Pinciotti, and Tommy Chong as Leo Chingkwake.

That ’90s Show Season 2 is coming this summer

Netflix released the first season of That ‘90s Show in January 2023. Set 15 years after the events of That ‘70s Show, the series brought Rupp and Smith back while simultaneously introducing a number of new characters, including Callie Haverda as Leia Forman, Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen Runck, Mace Coronel as Jay Kelso, Reyn Doi as Ozzie, Sam Morelos as Nikki, and Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate Runk.

Prepon, Valderrama, and Chong all played recurring roles in the first season of That ‘90s Show, while Kunis, Kutcher, Grace, and Stark cameoed in various episodes.

That ‘90s Show was renewed for a second season in February 2023. The second season will have 16 episodes (six more than the first season) and is expected to debut on the streaming platform sometime this summer, though an exact release date has not yet been announced by Netflix.
