What to Expect in Slow Horses Season 3?

“Slow Horses follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 – Slough House,” Apple’s description reads. “Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes.”

Slow Horses is based on Mick Herron’s spy novels in the Slough House series. Season 3 is adapted from Real Tigers, the third novel in the series, and revolves around a romantic liaison in Istanbul threatening to expose an MI5 secret. “When Jackson Lamb and his team of misfits are dragged into the fight, they find themselves caught in a conspiracy that threatens the future not just of Slough House but of MI5 itself,” the synopsis reads.

The series also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce. Katherine Waterston joins the series as MI5 agent Alison Dunn.

Slow Horses is adapted for television by Will Smith (Veep). Executive producers include Smith, Iain Canning, Hakan Kousetta, Jamie Laurenson, Gail Mutrux, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, and Graham Yost.
