Dark Winds Trailer Sets Release Date for AMC’s Noir Thriller

AMC has released the official trailer for Dark Winds, its forthcoming adaptation of Tony Hillerman’s iconic Leaphorn & Chee book series. It is scheduled to make its debut on Sunday, June 12 on AMC and AMC+ with the first two episodes.  One new episode will premiere every Sunday on AMC, and AMC+ subscribers will have advance access to an additional episode each week, beginning June 19.

The video, which you can check out below, begins with a Navajo police officer discovering two dead bodies in a hotel room. In order to find the killer, he must search through the town’s 27,000 square miles of land. Lucky for him, a new deputy has been sent to help him with the impossible task.
