A new Avengers: Doomsday update could further fuel anticipation for the film’s long-awaited trailer. Helmed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the upcoming film features an ensemble cast led by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and more.
What do we see in the new Avengers: Doomsday X-Men tease?
A Marvel insider, @AvengersUpdated, shared a picture on X that potentially teased an upcoming Marvel event for Avengers: Doomsday. The post read, “First look at the ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ promotional booth at the Shanghai Expo.” The image was originally shared by another account named @QiaoPM.
The picture shows two sections of the rumored booth. One appears to feature a throne, while the other showcases a setup resembling the X-Mansion from the X-Men universe. It appears to be the room where Professor X and Magneto often hang out. According to reports, the Avengers: Doomsday promotional booth at the Shanghai Expo will open to the public on July 11, 2026.
The throne could be the one on which Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom will be seen sitting. There are also banners related to Fantastic Four‘s Baxter Building, Wakanda, and the Avengers Headquarters. This major news comes at a time when fans are expecting the first Doomsday trailer. The upcoming event in Shanghai might be the moment they are waiting for. But it’s just a speculation for now.
While the latest update is huge, this info should be taken with a grain of salt unless Marvel shares any official confirmation. In recent weeks, several Doomsday rumors and leaks have surfaced, either about characters or the plot.

Previously, a rumor suggested Florence Pugh‘s Yelena Belova could be the most important female character in Avengers: Doomsday.
Then, another speculation over Doctor Doom’s arc claimed Doom will reportedly be obsessed with Steve Rogers, having little to no interest in Reed Richards.
Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
