During an interview with Better Call Saul star Rhea Seehorn, Variety confirmed that the sixth and final season of AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel spin-off will be split into two parts. Season 6 is expected to consist of 13 episodes and will likely be released in the first quarter of 2022.

Additionally, Seehorn didn’t release any “deep dark secrets” regarding when the show wraps, if her character Kim Wexler is alive, or if she’s still shooting, according to the outlet. She did confirm, however, that lead Bob Odenkirk, who has been recovering from a heart attack earlier this year, is “doing amazing.”

“And like I said, whether I’m in scripts or not, I get to read them and I can tell you that this season is insane. It’s going to blow people’s minds. I can’t wait for it to come out,” Seehorn said.

Season 6 of the Breaking Bad prequel spinoff series will star Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin, Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, Tony Dalton as Lalo Salamanca, and Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring.
