Last week, information broke regarding the second episode of Marvel Studios’ first television series, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” and, today, Marvel has released details on the series’ third, titled “The Asset.” The official synopsis reads as follows:
When the brilliant scientist, Dr. Franklin Hall, is kidnapped, Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents must race against the clock to locate him. Skye is their only way in — pushing the team to their limits when the entire plan turns upside-down — on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
The series features Clark Gregg reprising his role as Agent Phil Coulson from Marvels feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents that also includes: Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May and Chloe Bennet as the mysterious computer hacker Skye.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, September 24 at 8 p.m. “The Asset” is scheduled to air October 8.
