Chloë Sevigny Joins Luca Guadagnino’s HBO Drama We Are Who We Are

Academy Award nominee Chloë Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, American Horror Story) has officially been cast along with Alice Braga (Queen of the South, I Am Legend) and Jack Dylan Grazer (It, Shazam!) to star in director Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming coming-of-age series titled We Are Who We Are for HBO and Sky. This project will be Sevigny’s second series with HBO, having previously appeared on Big Love which earned her a Golden Globe Award.

In addition, Faith Alabi (Chewing Gum), Spence Moore II (All American), Corey Knight (Nobodies), Tom Mercier (Synonyms) and Sebastiano Pigazzi (Stupid Cupidhave also joined the ensemble cast with newcomers Ben Taylor, Francesca Scorsese, Jordan Kristine Seamon and rapper Kid Cudi. Production on the series will begin later this month in Italy.

We Are Who We Are is an eight-episode drama which tells the story of two American teenagers who, along with their military and civilian parents, are living on an American military base in Italy.  The series centers on friendship, first-love and all the unknowns of being a teenager, which could happen anywhere, but in this case, happens to be in this little slice of America in Italy.
