Comic-Con: New Brigsby Bear Trailer with Kyle Mooney & Mark Hamill

Sony Pictures Classics has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming film Brigsby Bear. The film is about a man who has something precious taken away from him in the form of a show and has to learn to live without it. You can check out the new Brigsby Bear trailer below!

Today’s Brigsby Bear Comic-Con panel will explore the upcoming film with Kyle Mooney, Dave McCary, Beck Bennett, Kevin Costello, and members of The Lonely Island, moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Anthony Breznican. There will be an exclusive extended clip of the film followed by a Q&A session. That will take place Thursday July 20 from 12:45pm – 1:45pm in Hall H.

Here is the official synopsis: “Brigsby Bear Adventures” is a children’s TV show produced for an audience of one: James (Kyle Mooney). When the show abruptly ends, James’s life changes forever, he sets out to finish the story himself and must learn to cope with the realities of a new world that he knows nothing about.

Starring Kyle Mooney (Saturday Night Live, Hello Ladies), Claire Danes (Homeland), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine), Matt Walsh (Office Christmas Party, Comedy Bang! Bang!) and Michaela Watkins (Casual, Enough Said), the film was produced by The Lonely Island (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Lord Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street), 3311 productions (In a World…, the upcoming Table 19), along with YL Pictures.

Brigsby Bear was written by Kevin Costello and Kyle Mooney and directed by Dave McCary. The film will open in select theaters on July 28.
