Indominus Rex is Born in One Final ‘Jurassic World’ Trailer

Jurassic World will be looking to give the slumping summer box office a jolt next weekend after it suffered its third down weekend in a row compared to last year. Early estimates peg the fourth film in the franchise at a $110 million opening weekend and there’s been some advanced buzz on Twitter, but most critics will be seeing the film this coming Monday and Tuesday. I, for one, will be seeing it this Tuesday in full scale IMAX, which is to say Universal Pictures is going all out to make sure we see it in one of the best possible environments. Personally I think our local Cinerama is better than our local IMAX for films that weren’t shot on IMAX, but that’s just me quibbling over small matters.

Today the studio has released one final, extended trailer in hopes of making sure you’re one of the moviegoers contributing to that opening weekend box office number as they hope to reignite interest in the dino franchise fourteen years after the last installment. You biting?

Give the final trailer a look below and let me know what you think in the comments.

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.
