Clarius Hopes for Better Results with ‘And So It Goes’, Here’s the Trailer

I’m sure brand new distributor Clarius Entertainment is hoping for a better result with And So It Goes than they saw with this weekend’s animated turd Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, which will forever enjoy suffering one of the worst all-time openings ever.

Luckily for And So It Goes it has a little juice when it comes to its cast in that it stars Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton and is directed by Rob Reiner. Then again, this isn’t the mid-90s and since Reiner directed A Few Good Men and The American President he hasn’t exactly been hitting home runs let alone singles or doubles.

He did find a little success with The Bucket List, which seems to be what this film will be trading off of (not to mention As Good as It Gets in title and tone) as it centers on a self-centered realtor (Douglas) who enlists the help of his neighbor (Keaton) when he’s suddenly left in charge of the granddaughter he never knew existed until his estranged son drops her off at his home.

The film hits theaters on July 11, the same weekend as Boyhood and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes so I’m not expecting it to be the most talked about movie that weekend. In fact, we may never discuss it again after this post… at least not around these parts.
