Paramount has released a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, which is almost certain to upset people because the mutant, talking turtles (a natural occurrence wherever you may live) either don’t look, sound or move right, but it’s here for you to watch nevertheless.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) and without a shred of irony or surprise, apparently darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder (William Fichtner) and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
With the film set to hit theaters on August 8, you can start the clock for when you can post your Twitter comments about how Liebesman and producer Michael Bay raped your childhood.
