What do we see in the trailer for Spa Weekend?
Spa Weekend stars Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau, and Anna Faris in a hilarious getaway comedy. Almost two months after the first trailer, Black Bear has put out another trailer for the upcoming comedy film.
It opens with three friends excited about a spa retreat. When they arrive at the luxury spot, they are mesmerized by everything, including the “hot” yoga teacher. They are then joined by their chaotic friend, Mel.
After promising not to go crazy during the weekend, the four are swept up in a series of unexpected events and bad choices. What was supposed to be a calming and “chill” retreat turns into a much-needed wild escape for the four.
The movie is written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. As stated above, the comedy writers have previously worked on Bad Moms, The Hangover, 21 & Over, A Bad Moms Christmas, and Jexi.
The cast members also include Dam Demos, Stephen Hunter, Dominic Ona-Ariki, and Jon Quested. Suzanne Todd and John Friedberg are the producers. Executive producers include Michael Heimler, Troy Lum, Andrew Mason, Llewellyn Radley, and Teddy Schwarzman.
Spa Weekend will be released in theaters on August 21, 2026.
