Open Road has revealed the first Machete Kills teaser trailer, giving you a first look at the new film, which finds Machete (Danny Trejo) recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission.
This time around Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space.
Along with Trejo (who just turned 69 if you can believe it), the film co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demián Bichir, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler, Mel Gibson as the villain and Charlie Sheen credited under his birth name, Carlos Estevez.
The film is set for a September 23 release.
