HBO Max‘s new TV and movie releases for February 19-25 2024 include the films San Andreas and Machete Kills.
Starting on February 22, HBO Max viewers can start streaming San Andreas, a disaster film centering around a massive earthquake caused by the San Andreas fault. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Grufford, Archie Panjabi, and Paul Giamatti.
Then on February 23, HBO Max viewers can catch Machete Kills, an action exploitation film that is the sequel to 2010’s Machete. The story follows Machete Cortez as he is recruited by the U.S. President to stop an arms dealer and a revolutionary. Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Tom Savini, Electra and Elise Avellan, Felix Sabates, and Jessica Alba reprise their roles from the first film and are joined by a new cast that includes Mel Gibson, Demian Bichir, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, and Charlie Sheen.
Other releases on HBO Max during this week include Little People Big World Season 16 (via TLC), a reality television series that details the lives of the six-member Roloff family who live on a farm near Portland, Oregon. Most of the episodes focus on the parents Matt and Amy, and one of their kids Zach, who has dwarfism.
Also being released on HBO Max this week is Renovation Aloha (HGTV), a series that focuses on a married couple and home renovators Trystyn and Kamohai Kalama, who transform run-down homes into beautiful residential places. There is also the Max Original Jellystone, Season 3A, an animated series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, featuring reimagined versions of various characters from the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, such as Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound.
