Check out the just debuted teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which is set to hit theaters on May 20, 2011 and brings back Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in a brand new adventure under the direction of Rob Marshall (Chicago, Memoirs of a Geisha).
While Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley won’t be returning for this fourth Pirates feature, Geoffrey Rush is back as well as Keith Richards as Jack’s father, Captain Teague. The rest of the cast includes Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Stephen Graham, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Richard Griffiths and even Judi Dench.
This time around Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past (Cruz) whom he’s unsure if she’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
