New Trailer and Poster for ‘Let Me In’

MTV has unveiled the new trailer for the Let the Right One In remake Let Me In shortly after its debut at Comic Con. When the international trailer debuted there were a lot of complaints, some attacking the look of the film and many attacking the fact it’s being made at all. Well, here’s your chance for another evaluation.

The film stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz and centers on Owen (Smit-McPhee), an alienated 12-year-old boy who befriends Abby (Moretz), a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood. It’s based on John Ajvide Lindqvist’s best-selling Swedish novel, which received an adaptation in its native tongue in 2008.

I’ve added the trailer directly below and the poster just below that. Leave your thoughts in the comments. The plan remains for Overture to release the film on October 1 following Relativity Media’s recent acquisition of the fledgling studio.

You can get a larger look at the poster and two other images from the film here.
