Check In with Zach Galifianakis with the ‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story’ Trailer

Yesterday I listed off the films I felt stood a chance at getting above-the-line Oscar kudos over the course of the next six months and one of those was Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden’s It’s Kind of a Funny Story which is set to hit theaters on September 24 from Focus Features.

The film stars Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts, Viola Davis and Zoe Kravitz and is based on Ned Vizzini’s 2006 novel telling the story of a clinically depressed 16-year-old (Gilchrist) who checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward where he gains a new lease on life.

Fleck and Boden are the duo behind Half Neslon and Sugar, so expectation would be for this one to at the very least be worth watching. Give the trailer a watch below and leave your thoughts in the comments. MTV has the first look at some photos right here if you’re interested.
