Yahoo has debuted the first teaser trailer for Disney Animation’s Tangled, set to hit theaters on November 24. The film is being described in online circles as “Rapunzel for boys” after the film went through a name change and the fact it centers on the kingdom’s most wanted — and most charming — bandit Flynn Rider as he hides out in a mysterious tower where he’s been taken hostage by Rapunzel, a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs.
The voice cast includes Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi and is directed by Byron Howard (Bolt) and Nathan Greno (co-writer of Meet the Robinsons).
