ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Broke clip for Sony Pictures’ latest Western drama, featuring Wyatt Russell (Thunderbolts*) and Dennis Quaid (Lawmen: Bass Reeves). The movie is now officially available to rent or own on digital platforms.
“The film is a contemporary western following the story of True Brandywine, a bareback bronc rider clinging to his fading rodeo career,” reads the synopsis. “When True gets trapped in a freak spring blizzard, he must battle injuries, illness, and the bitter cold. While fighting for his survival, True is forced to face his choices and the circumstances that led him to his tenuous situation.”

What happens in the Broke clip?
The video provides the audience with a glimpse of the estranged relationship between Russell and Quaid’s characters. It shows Russell’s True Brandywine finally getting fed up with his father’s constant questions about his plans for his future. The cast also includes Auden Thornton (True Story, Black Mirror), Mary McDonnell (Rebel, Major Crimes), Johnny Berchtold (Snow Falls, Reacher), and Tom Skerrit (Ted).
Broke is written and directed by Carlyle Eubank (The Signal), who is also serving as an executive producer. The film is produced by Russell, Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, Victoria Vaughn, John Stalberg, Jr., David Frigerio, Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis, and Terry Dougas.
