The first trailer for LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling has been released.
LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling is a new, 22-minute-long animated short set to release on Peacock in October. The special is based on Steven Spielberg’s classic 1993 film; only, this time, the story is told from Ian Malcolm’s perspective.

What is LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling about?
“From the comfort of his living room and after finding his personal journal, the ever charming and now slightly older Chaos Theory Mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm retells the tale of what happened that dreadful night at Jurassic Park,” the official synopsis reads. “As only he can do, Dr. Malcolm finds a way to add his own unique humor and style to bring this harrowing story back to life. A theme park destination filled with living dinosaurs for family and kids to enjoy – what could possibly go wrong? Absolutely everything…just as he had predicted!”
LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling celebrates the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park, which starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. LEGO is also releasing a new line of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World sets to honor the anniversary, including:
- LEGO Jurassic World The Visitor Center (76961), the classic hub for guests visiting the park and featuring the infamous T. rex battle.
- LEGO Jurassic World Brachiosaurus Discovery (76960), the first set highlighting the Brachiosaurus in LEGO form.
- LEGO Jurassic World Triceratops Research (76959), including the fan-favorite, buildable dinosaur poop.
- LEGO Jurassic World Dilophosaurus Ambush (76958), with the iconic Jurassic Park Jeep.
- Velociraptor Escape (76957), equipped with a pen and feeding basket for your pet Velociraptor.
Additionally, Peacock has now added LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar, LEGO Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit 1 & 2, and LEGO Jurassic World: Indominus Escape onto its streaming library for fans to watch.
