ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive trailer for Only in Theaters, the upcoming documentary that features the history of Laemmle Theatres and the Laemmle family. The film will premiere in Los Angeles on Friday, November 18, at all six Laemmle theaters, then in New York in mid-January.

“Only in Theaters highlights the Laemmle family’s unbelievable legacy and impact on the motion picture industry while set against the slowly changing landscape,” reads the film’s synopsis. “While bigger issues are discussed, such as the future of film, the importance of exhibition to both audiences and filmmakers, and the questions about what’s at stake if we were to lose theaters, Only in Theaters is a story about one immigrant family and its remarkable mission across several generations to continue doing it.”
