Cheaper by the Dozen Trailer: Disney+ Remake Stars Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff

Walt Disney Studios has dropped the official Cheaper by the Dozen trailer for Disney+’s upcoming modern remake of the 2003 classic family comedy film, starring Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff. The film will be available for streaming on Friday, March 18.

The video, which you can check out below along with the key art, features a married couple as they try their best to manage a hectic home life that comes with having ten kids.

Described as a fresh take on the 2003 film, Disney+’s Cheaper by the Dozen tells a funny and heartwarming story of the raucous exploits of a blended family of 12, the Bakers, as they navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing their family business.

The film stars Gabrielle Union, Zach Braff, Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, Aryan Simhadri, Leo Abelo Perry, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Christian Cote, Sebastian Cote, and Luke Prael.

Cheaper by the Dozen is directed by Gail Lerner from a screenplay by Black-ish producer Kenya Barris & Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry, based on the 1948 novel by Frank Bunker Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. Executive producers are Union, Shawn Levy, Brian Dobbins, and Donald J. Lee, Jr., with Kenya Barris producing.

The iconic 2003 movie starred Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt as their characters deal with the struggles of raising twelve children which included actors Piper Perabo, Tom Welling, Hilary Duff, and Alison Stoner. Despite having a poor critical reception, the Shawn Levy-directed film was still able to gain a worldwide gross of more than $190 million against a reported $40 million budget.
