Little Monsters red-band trailer: zombie comedy coming to Hulu in October!
There’s been a lot of positive buzz for the upcoming zombie horror comedy Little Monsters and a new blood and profanity-filled red-band trailer has revealed that the film will finally be coming to general audiences as Hulu has acquired it as an original film and will debut it on October 11! The trailer can be viewed in the player below!
The film follows Dave (Alexander England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a shine to the plucky schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Lupita Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kid’s show personality, and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Josh Gad). One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak, from which Dave and Miss Caroline must protect the children.
Keith & Jess Calder’s Snoot Entertainment and Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories are producing the film which had received major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Create NSW. Snoot’s Keith & Jess Calder are producing alongside Made Up Stories’ Papandrea, Jodi Matterson, and Steve Hutensky, with Jeanne Snow executive producing. Protagonist Pictures is handling international sales.
Starring Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o (Us, Black Panther), Josh Gad (Frozen) and Alexander England, the film had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. You can pick up Black Panther now on Amazon.
Little Monsters is set to be released one night only in theaters on October 8, and streaming on Hulu on October 11!
