Carey Mulligan is planning on headlining the black comedy Nancy and Danny, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. Indian Paintbrush has set Man on a Wire director James Marsh to helm with a script from Brad Inglesby (Out of the Furnace).
The plot would see Mulligan as a small-town woman who winds up pulling another man into a get-rich-quick scheme gone awry.
Mulligan recently starred in Steve McQueen’s Shame and can be seen in the upcoming Coen brothers project, Inside Llweyn Davis and in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby.
