Watch clips from Resident Evil: Vendetta and Adventure Time: Season Seven, both of which come home July 18

We’re kicking off the week with two behind-the-scenes looks at two very different July 18 releases. In the top player below, you can check out an animatic from Adventure Time: Season Seven. Then, just beneath that, we have a look at one of the behind-the-scenes featurettes that appears on this week’s animated video game adaptation Resident Evil: Vendetta.

Recent big screen releases coming home July 18 include the Monsterverse blockbuster Kong: Skull Island, Ben Wheatley’s stylish shoot ’em up Free Fire and the American genocide drama The Promise. Also coming home is Sarah Adina Smith’s Buster’s Mal Heart, starring Mr. Robot‘s Rami Malek. Then, arriving on DVD only, is the historical golf drama Tommy’s Honour.

The Criterion Collection brings to Blu-ray Stalker. Moviegoers can catch a cameo from Andrei Tarkovsky’s legendary sci-fi thriller in July 28th’s Cold War actioner Atomic Blonde.

Warner Archive has another HD debut treat for cinephiles this week with Blood Alley. John Wayne and Lauren Bacall headline the 1955 CinemaScope adventure, directed by Wings and The Ox-Bow Incident‘s William Wellman.

Small screen releases hitting July 18 include the second seasons of The Expanse, the fourth season of The 100, the first part of the sixth season of the MTV supernatural drama Teen Wolf and, on DVD only, a box set that includes the complete five seasons of T.J. Hooker. Also arriving just in time for this Friday’s Valerian is the complete Time Jam: Valerian and Laureline animated series. The 2007 French and Japanese production is based on the same Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières comic book series that inspired the Luc Besson film.

Digital HD titles coming home July 18 include Nacho Vigalondo’s monster-scaled indie comedy drama Colossal, the found footage UFO thriller Phoenix Forgotten, the Dave Eggers adaptation The Circle and, from director Denise Di Novi, the Rosario Dawson vs. Katherine Heigl thriller Unforgettable.
