Heat Vision says that Andy and Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski (“The Matrix” films) have set up Hood at Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie is “a modern, urban take on the Robin Hood myth.”
While the storyline is under wraps, it is known that the Wachowskis wrote the script and will direct the film, to be produced by longtime collaborator Joel Silver.
The site adds that the pair are reaching out to actors, with Will Smith as one of those who they reached out to.
The Wachowskis have been working on Cobalt Neural 9, their secret Iraqi war movie.
