Aziz Ansari (NBC’s “Parks and Recreation”) is in negotiations to star in Media Rights Capital’s action comedy 30 Minutes or Less, produced by Red Hour’s Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfield.
The film is about a junior high history teacher (Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced to rob a bank when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest.
Danny McBride is rumored to be playing the other lead.
Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer is directing. Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan wrote the script.
Filming is scheduled to start this summer.
