20th Century Fox has bought a pitch from writers Adam Cole-Kelly & Sam Pittman titled Premature Maturation that puts an ensemble spin on the concept behind the hit 1988 Tom Hanks comedy.
Risky Business reports that the project will likely get a new title. It follows a group of kids who suddenly find themselves grown up.
Former NewsCorp president Peter Chernin is producing through his Chernin Entertainment.
Cole-Kelly and Pittman also wrote The Misadventures of Fluffy, an R-rated Paramount comedy that will star Eddie Murphy.
