New ‘Ant-Man’ Pictures, Poster, TV Spot & Spider-Man Easter Egg Rumor

Marvel has released a gallery of new images from the upcoming Ant-Man along with a recently released poster and a new TV spot for the newest origin story to be added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe releasing in theaters on July 17. However, in addition to the new marketing goodies there’s also a rumor from Latino Review that Ant-Man will have the first Spider-Man easter egg, ahead of the webslinger’s cameo appearance in next year’s Captain America: Civil War.

The site reports a rumor the film will include references to both Spider-Man and OsCorp as the film’s antagonist, Darren Cross (Corey Stoll ), will be “attempting to sell the Ant-Man/Yellowjacket weapons technology to other corporations and organizations” one of those, presumably, would be OsCorp.

This doesn’t mean you’ll actually see Spider-Man and it’s likely this will be more along the lines of the LexCorp hints in Man of Steel. But hey, I guess it’s something to keep your eyes peeled for.

Now check out the new trailer and pictures below.

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
