No, this isn’t strictly movie news, or even television news, but it’s an art used in both mediums that just happens to be highlighted in a video taking a look behind the scenes of making the upcoming video game Mortal Kombat X. Below is a short video taking a look at how some Foley artists used Nickelodeon slime, a plunger, a bowl, their hands and a microphone to create some nasty sounds and below that I’ve included a video taking a look at several of the fatalities from the game where you just might be able to hear a few of these effects at work.
