Hobbitty Smaug, Smaug Extended Edition in Nov, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Extends in 2015

Warner Home Video has announced the extended edition of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug for November 3 and it will include 25 additional minutes of footage as well as nine hours of bonus content… You know, in case you absolutely have nothing else in the world to do.

Just below is an extended Mirkwood scene from the new cut of the film, which will now run 185 minutes. The final chapter in the trilogy, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies hits theaters on December 17.

Expected on the extended cut are scenes of Anna Paquin as Rogue, official news of the release is expected “soon“.
