How Will the Events of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Shape ‘Captain America 3’?

Captain America: Civil War (aka Captain America 3) will reportedly begin shooting in Atlanta on April 1 according to Collider who received information on the shoot as well as a synopsis for the film via casting notices for extras. The synopsis for the film might be looked at by many as a bit of a spoiler for Avengers: Age of Ultron, but I think any of you with even the least bit of information concerning Civil War know where this is heading. It’s pretty much in the film’s title after all.

Here’s the synopsis.

Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies.

Captain America: Civil War will see Chris Evans back as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr. joining him as Iron Man/Tony Stark. Additionally it will serve as the first film where we’ll see Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther as well as Marvel’s new iteration of Spider-Man is expected to make an appearance. Daniel Brühl and Frank Grillo co-star as this one is looking more and more like just another Avengers movie.

Joe and Anthony Russo are directing for a May 6, 2016 release.
