‘Birdman’ Tops 2014 Gotham Awards Winners

Boyhood topped the Gotham Independent Film Awards nominations with four, but it was Birdman that took home the most awards with two, including Best Feature and Best Actor for Michael Keaton, which just so happen to be the only awards the film was nominated for.

Winning for Best Actress was the presumed Oscar front-runner Julianne Moore for Still Alice, Best Documentary went to presumed Oscar front-runner Citizenfour and Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) took home Breakthrough Director and it was Tessa Thompson (Dear White People) taking home Breakthrough Actor for a film I really need to make sure I see.
