Focus has released a poster for the upcoming submarine thriller Black Sea starring Jude Law and directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) and it’s got a bit of a simple, old school vibe for it I’m kind of digging.
The movie centers on a rogue submarine captain (Law) who, after being laid off from a salvage company, pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumored to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea. As greed and desperation take control on board their claustrophobic vessel, the increasing uncertainty of the mission causes the men to turn on each other to fight for their own survival.
Additional members of the cast include Scoot McNairy, Jodie Whittaker and Ben Mendelsohn and the film is set for an early year, January 23, 2015 release date.
