ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Shackled. The upcoming sci-fi crime movie is set to release OnDemand and digitally on August 11, 2026.
“In a dystopian future where the parole system has been replaced with R.A.P.P. – the Recidivism Accountability Partnership Program – a white-collar ex-con must take drastic measures to ensure his survival when he’s paired with a sociopathic gangster with terminal cancer. Bound together by explosive charges surgically implanted in their hearts, one wrong move from either of them could mean the execution of them both,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

What happens in the Shackled trailer?
The trailer for Shackled follows two criminals who are placed in the Recidivism Accountability Partnership Program, or R.A.P.P. for short. The program pairs up two criminals who are bound together by explosives attached to their hearts. The pair must prevent each other from committing any other crimes, as even one will trigger the explosives on both of them.
However, the pair are quickly thrust into chaos as one of the pair, a gangster with an illness, doesn’t seem to care about being reformed or keeping his partner okay.
Shackled is directed by Luke Spears and written by Matthew Bayer and Graham Powell. The film stars Graham Powell, Armen Garo, K.K. Moggie, Scarlet Sher, Hannah Ward, Alexander Aguirre, Jose Guns Alves, Macc Plaise, and David Dean Bottrell. Jefferis Gray and Luke Spears serve as producers on the project.
