David Fincher and Chuck Palahniuk Discuss ‘Fight Club’ at Comic Con

Beyond all the comic book nonsense, the 60-second glimpses of superheroes and the trailer reveals that will be online 24 hours after they premiere, Comic Con does offer some cool panels, one of which this year was a Q&A session featuring “Fight Club” author Chuck Palahniuk and the film adaptation’s director David Fincher, among other guests, discussing the story’s genesis, marketing and legacy as Palahniuk prepares the April 2015 release of a 10-issue, graphic novel sequel to “Fight Club” through Dark Horse Comics, which will pick up 10 years after the novel left off.

I have yet to listen to the entirety of what follows, but thanks to Jeff Goldsmith you can listen to the entire Comic Con panel directly below. After Goldsmith’s intro, it runs for about 50 minutes so dive in and enjoy.

Also, I’d love to read your favorite quotes from the Q&A, so if you listen, post them below in the comments. Palahniuk gets us started…
