20th Century Fox has released the first images from their upcoming attempt to restart the video game adaptation Hitman: Agent 47, this time with Rupert Friend in the title role as a genetically-engineered assassin created from the recombinant DNA of five of the world’s most dangerous criminals.
Friend stars in the film alongside Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware (pictured below), Thomas Kretschmann and Ciaran Hinds and it’s set to hit theaters on February 27, 2015.
The first attempt to bring the video game to the big screen featured Timothy Olyphant in the lead role and introduced the world to Olga Kurylenko. The film, however, managed only $99.9 million at the worldwide box office. I can’t say these pictures give us much of an indication as to what we should expect, but I’m also not expecting much.
