John Goodman and Ken Watanabe To Voice Autobots in ‘Transformers 4’

Paramount Pictures announced the new voice cast for the alien robots in Michael Bay‘s Transformers: Age of Extinction and while four of the names aren’t exactly familier — John DiMaggio, Mark Ryan, Robert Foxworth and Reno Wilson — you’re bound to recognize John Goodman and Ken Watanabe who will provide the voices for Autobots Hound and Drift (pictured below).

In addition to this, Peter Cullen will return to voice Optimus Prime and Frank Welker will voice Galvatron (also pictured below).

DiMaggio and Ryan will take on the new characters Crosshairs and Lockdown respectively, while Foxworth reprises the role of Ratchet and Wilson returns as Brains.

“I am pleased to welcome two gifted and versatile actors, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe, to the world of Transformers,” said Bay. “And to reteam with Peter and Frank, who have brought Transformers characters alive from the beginning. I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best voice talent in the business, and together we will introduce several exciting new robots to fans of the franchise around the world.”

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27, see more robot character pictures here.
