First ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ Clip

Fox Searchlight has released the first clip from Wes Anderson‘s The Grand Budapest Hotel, which is set to premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February before hitting theaters on March 7.

The clip features Ralph Fiennes as the legendary Grand Budapest Hotel concierge Gustav H, who finds a trusted partner in Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori) the hotel’s lobby boy. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting, the battle for an enormous family fortune and the slow and then sudden upheavals that transformed Europe during the first half of the 20th century.

Along with Fiennes and Revolori the film features a massive ensemble including Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Harvey Keitel, Jason Schwartzmann, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Saoirse Ronan, Tom Wilkinson, Mathieu Amalric, F. Murray Abraham and Bob Balaban.

Check out the clip below, which appears to suggest the entire film will be presented in a 1.37:1 aspect ratio.
