There had been a few rumors suggesting Kurt Russell might not show up in Fast & Furious 7 and would instead be a prime character in Fast & Furious 8. Well, Vin Diesel has ended all that by posting the above first look of Russell along with Paul Walker in the film. The light isn’t particularly flattering as it makes Russell look like he’s wearing a prosthetic chin, but that’s him alright.
As of now there are no official details on the plot for the seventh film outside of knowing it brings everything back to where it all started in Los Angeles with a July 11, 2014 release date already on the books. The Conjuring and Insidious: Chapter 2 director James Wan has taken over helming duties from Justin Lin and he has all the regulars with him including Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges along with additional newcomers Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou and Ronda Rousey. Oh, and how could I forget, the return of the Tokyo Drift King, Lucas Black.
