Above are the first three posters for Vin Diesel‘s return as the title character in Riddick and below is the newest poster for the film and I’m not sure they could look any more generic and uninteresting.
The new film is due out September 6 and finds Riddick (Diesel) stranded on a sun-scorched planet, fighting for survival against alien predators where his only way off is to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
Universal will bring Riddick to Comic Con on Friday, July 19, to what will undoubtedly result in plenty of screaming and hyperbole on Twitter. I have to assume the new Twitter feature, Vine, will be alive with six second snippets from the footage shown at Comic Con this year. Oh boy.
